John McGinnis serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Roebuck Landscaping & Landscaping (RWNL), playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and driving growth aligned with RWNL’s Vivid Vision. Since joining RWNL, John has been instrumental in transforming the organization’s financial systems, ensuring transparency and precision in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting. His leadership has been key in building a strong financial foundation, especially in navigating RWNL’s new private equity partnership.
With a rich background in financial management, John began his career at KPMG, gaining invaluable audit experience before joining Adidas America, where he contributed to the company’s achievement of over $1 billion in revenue. His roles at Extended Stay Hotels further deepened his expertise in financial planning and analysis, broadening his forward-looking perspective on business strategy.
John joined RWNL during a critical growth phase, helping the company scale from $5 million to over $25 million in revenue. His ability to balance strategic financial oversight with a hands-on approach has positioned RWNL for sustainable expansion.
A former collegiate athlete, John’s early experiences in sports instilled a deep understanding of teamwork and competition. Beyond his professional achievements, John is dedicated to enhancing the lives of RWNL’s customers and team members. He is passionate about creating value, from beautiful landscapes and hardscapes to growth opportunities for employees. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family and contributing to the Spartanburg community that he has proudly called home for many years.
Christi Mintz
Controller
With over 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, Christi Mintz brings a wealth of expertise from the construction, procurement, development, and investment banking industries. Her professional background includes overseeing financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, internal controls, and both corporate and project accounting. Since moving to Greenville in 2022 from Colorado, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance, Christi has embraced her new community while pursuing her love of hiking, boating, traveling, tennis, golf, and spending time with her husband. She especially enjoys visits from her grandchildren. As Controller, Christi’s leadership and financial acumen play a key role in supporting RWNL’s growth and commitment to excellence.
Caleb Kaliebe
Senior Estimator & Preconstruction Leader
With 22 years of experience in landscape development, Caleb Kaliebe has worked on high-profile projects across the U.S., Caribbean, and South America. His expertise lies in turning visionary ideas into reality while delivering meaningful, lasting impact. As RWNL’s Senior Estimator & Preconstruction Leader, Caleb has elevated the Estimating Department with a strategic approach that improves efficiency, enhances project outcomes, and strengthens partnerships. His leadership and passion align with RWNL’s dedication to excellence and innovation in every project.
Justin Melton
Greenville Branch Manager
Justin Melton is the Branch Manager of RWNL’s Mauldin location, leading the charge in RWNL’s expansion efforts with the successful launch of its first new branch in 2024. Bringing over 22 years of diverse experience in the landscaping industry, Justin has expertise across all facets of landscaping, including maintenance, construction, irrigation, and turf care, complemented by an associate degree in Horticulture.
Justin began his career at age 13, working at a golf course, where he developed a passion for landscaping that led him to start and run his own business for nearly seven years. After earning his degree and navigating the challenges of the 2008-2009 recession, he joined Brickman as an Operations Manager, completing advanced training at Brickman University. Later, as Vice President of Operations at Landmark Landscapes, Justin oversaw the growth of multiple branches, spearheaded the opening of two new locations, and drove operational success.
Justin joined RWNL on December 12, 2022, taking on the Estimating and Pre-Construction role to support the COO and manage pre-construction estimating for the Landscape Construction division. In 2024, Justin’s leadership and expertise earned him a promotion to Branch Manager, where he has successfully established RWNL’s Mauldin branch as the first step in the company’s broader expansion plans and Vivid Vision.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his two sons in racing, and embracing the outdoors. His dedication to the landscaping industry reflects a lifetime of hard work, perseverance, and passion for driving excellence and growth.
