Since our founding in 1980, Roebuck Landscaping has grown from humble beginnings into a trusted leader in the landscape construction and maintenance industry throughout the Southeast.
John McGinnis serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Roebuck Landscaping & Landscaping (RWNL), playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and driving growth aligned with RWNL’s Vivid Vision. Since joining RWNL, John has been instrumental in transforming the organization’s financial systems, ensuring transparency and precision in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting. His leadership has been key in building a strong financial foundation, especially in navigating RWNL’s new private equity partnership.
With a rich background in financial management, John began his career at KPMG, gaining invaluable audit experience before joining Adidas America, where he contributed to the company’s achievement of over $1 billion in revenue. His roles at Extended Stay Hotels further deepened his expertise in financial planning and analysis, broadening his forward-looking perspective on business strategy.
John joined RWNL during a critical growth phase, helping the company scale from $5 million to over $25 million in revenue. His ability to balance strategic financial oversight with a hands-on approach has positioned RWNL for sustainable expansion.
A former collegiate athlete, John’s early experiences in sports instilled a deep understanding of teamwork and competition. Beyond his professional achievements, John is dedicated to enhancing the lives of RWNL’s customers and team members. He is passionate about creating value, from beautiful landscapes and hardscapes to growth opportunities for employees. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family and contributing to the Spartanburg community that he has proudly called home for many years.
Christi Mintz
Controller
With over 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, Christi Mintz brings a wealth of expertise from the construction, procurement, development, and investment banking industries. Her professional background includes overseeing financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, internal controls, and both corporate and project accounting. Since moving to Greenville in 2022 from Colorado, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance, Christi has embraced her new community while pursuing her love of hiking, boating, traveling, tennis, golf, and spending time with her husband. She especially enjoys visits from her grandchildren. As Controller, Christi’s leadership and financial acumen play a key role in supporting RWNL’s growth and commitment to excellence.
